Dan Stein is an OHSU trained physician assistant. He has been practicing in family practice and mental health since 2006.
Daniel works with CFPC part-time, providing providing medication management and counseling for teens and adults. He also works in family practice with a separate healthcare practice in the valley.
After graduating from OHSU, Dan was awarded a National Health Service Corps Scholarship and fulfilled his commitment at Open Door Community Health Center in rural Northern California for 5 years. He spent the next 12 years at OHSU in the family medicine department where he led efforts to improve colorectal cancer screening, hypertension control, and expanding hepatitis C treatment.
After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Ecology from the Evergreen State College in Washington, Daniel completed his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies at OHSU.
In his free time, Dan enjoys skiing, trail running and exploring the rivers of southern Oregon.
